April holds an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts from San Antonio College and is currently pursuing a degree in Social Work at Texas State University, demonstrating her commitment to continuous learning and advocacy for families in need.
Her passion for helping others stems from her upbringing as a first-generation American, where she often served as a translator for her mother. This experience fueled her desire to assist individuals navigating complex legal matters, particularly in family law. April began her legal career as a file clerk in a criminal defense firm, where she quickly discovered her affinity for the legal profession before transitioning into family law, which she now considers her calling.
Recognized for her outstanding contributions, April was named a “Top Paralegal” by Scene in SA in 2021. She is an active member of the Texas Board of Legal Specialization’s Paralegal Division and has contributed to continuing legal education (CLE) initiatives, including speaking on paralegal panels for the State Bar of Texas.
Outside of her professional life, April is a devoted mother to her son, Alexander. She embraces her role as a “soccer mom,” attending practices and games, and enjoys participating in 5K runs, supporting local sports teams, and exploring new adventures with her son. Passionate about advocacy, she aspires to become more involved with organizations that support victims of domestic violence and immigrants seeking refuge.
